Room21 is a local store of curated goods, highlighting Romanian products, as well as the designers, studios, small factories or craftsmen who make them possible. Room21 aims to recover and to promote locally made objects and their stories, from nostalgic goods, the latest Romanian design products or handmade objects. Room21 is driven by the desire to investigate the way we relate to objects and consumption, stating that we care more about the beloved, special products, relevant in a local context, those products that encourage entrepreneurs and designers to create and to develop. Room21 is therefore a store, a small local business started from the passion to collect new, found and handmade goods and to work with designers and craftsmen whose tastes and ideals match our own. The collections reflects our personal aesthetic, simple, well designed goods and small treasures from craftspeople, artists or family run businesses.
